Quick, easy and authentic Tuna Salad recipe! Build a delicious sub in about 5 minutes!

Tuna Salad Ingredients
  • 12 ounces WORTHINGTON® Meatless TUNA (Thawed)
  • ½ cups Vegan Mayo (Helmann's or Follow Your Heart Vegan Mayos work well.)
  • cups Celery (finely chopped)
  • cups Red Onions (finely chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice (fresh squeezed)
  • cups Pickle Relish
  • 1 teaspoon Minced Garlic
  • 1 pinch Salt (to taste)
  • 1 dash Pepper (to taste)
  • Bread and Garnish
  • 1 Piece Sub or Hoagie Bun (8 inch roll)
  • 1 Small Tomato (Sliced)
  • 2 Pieces Leafy Romain Lettuce Leaves
  • 4 Slices Red Onions
  • 3 Slices Provolone (Follow Your Heart Vegan Provolone)
Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Thaw 12oz WORTHINGTON® TUNA Roll in the refrigerator overnight or in cold water.

    Slice open roll and place entire contents in a mixing bowl - breaking up with a fork or gloved hands.

  2. Step 2

    Add vegan mayo, diced celery and onions, lemon juice, minced garlic and pickle relish to the TUNA and mix well.

  3. Step 3

    Add Salt and Pepper to taste. Mix again. 

  4. Step 4

    Prepare a sliced Sub or Hoagie roll with leafy romaine lettuce, tomato slices, onion and vegan provolone cheese. 

    Place TUNA Salad on top, slice into 4 pieces and serve!

Note
  1. You can give your dish a more fishy flavor by adding a dash of old bay seasoning or by adding kelp flakes, dulce flakes, or crumbled up pieces of seaweed to taste!
  2. To really get the flavors to bloom or develop, place Tuna Salad mix in the refrigerator overnight and serve the next day.
