Description

Quick, easy and look-a-like recipe! Build a mouth watering 5 star plant-based "Chicken" Lettuce Wrap appetizer in about 20 minutes!

Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 16 oz Chicketts™ ((pre-crumbled))
  • 2 clove Garlic ((minced))
  • 1 Onion ((diced))
  • ¼ cup Hoisin Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Rice Wine Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Ginger ((freshly grated))
  • 1 tbsp Sriracha Sauce ((optional))
  • 5 oz Water Chestnuts ((whole, 8-oz can drained, diced))
  • 2 Piece Green Onions ((thinly sliced))
  • 1 pinch Kosher Salt ((to taste))
  • 1 pinch Ground Black Pepper ((to taste))
  • 1 Butter Lettuce ((one head))
Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium high heat. Add PRE-crumbled CHICKETTS™ and cook until browned, about 3-5 minutes.

  2. Step 2

    Stir in garlic, onion, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, ginger and Sriracha until onions have become translucent, about 1-2 minutes.

  3. Step 3

    Stir in chestnuts and green onions until tender, about 1-2 minutes; season with salt and pepper, to taste.

  4. Step 4

    To serve, spoon several tablespoons of the CHICKETTS™ mixture into the center of a butter lettuce leaf, sprinkle chopped green onion to garnish.
